It's fall - waiting for winter
Storms are sweeping away the relics of summer
The leaves are dancing when they die
It's fall - summer's dying
Winds are wailing, the trees are sighing.
It's fall - nights are cold
There should be some body to warm me up
Rain on the blanket where I lie
It's fall - summer's dying
Winds are wailing, the trees are sighing.
It's fall - & I shiver
But the colors are warm, trying to cheat me
The leaves look pleasant, they can't cry

It's fall - watching the rain
there's mud on the ground, sun gleams through mist
Dream by the fire, warm & dry
